I've been a photographer in New York City for over 13 years. Aside from being a father and a husband, picking up a camera has been one of the most fulfilling, purposeful moments of my life.

As a father and a photographer, I try to document as much of my family as I can, because, hey, they’re going to grow, and I’d like to remember my children in their earlier years as long as I can.

Photography is personal for me

After I had my own engagement session, my passion for photography grew exponentially. I was so impressed by how the photographer beautifully captured the raw emotion and isolated these moments in a photo. After, I took an apprenticeship under Joseph Lin Photography who was Top 10 on The Knot. For years, I was a second and primary photographer for them. After my father passed away, I went to visit his last remaining family member. He told me in my dad’s earlier days, he was studying to be a journalist photographer but gave it up to come to America and have a family. So, I guess you can say photography has always been in my soul.
